Water jet cutting

For water jet cutting of concrete, we apply the same technology that we use for steel cutting, except that if the concrete is not reinforced, it can be cut without adding silica. Given that concrete is a porous material, it allows better water entry and allows fissures to be made from the inside, which cause the cut.
These types of jobs are performed by robots, using a remote control that operates the pneumatic drives of the robot. The robot is fastened to the structure to be cut using a specific support. With this system, workers are not within the radius of action of either the water or the abrasive at ultra-high pressure, thereby guaranteeing complete safety. Main characteristics:
- Use of ultra-high-pressure (UHP) equipment of 2,500 bar.
- A remote controlled robot does the cutting.
- Accessories and a tank to be able to spray the cutting sand.
- Powder-free cutting.
- No vibrations are caused.
- Orientable and accurate jet.
