Removal of catalysts and

Following our criteria of diversification and innovation, in 2009 Lagupres ventured on offering a new catalyst removal and loading service under the private brand of Catsystems. Based on the prior experience of Lagupres’s partners in this business, countless technological improvements were applied with respect to what was being used in the sector for the purpose of improving safety and efficiency.
In the petrochemical industry, there is equipment where a large quantity of catalyst is stored for plant operations. With use, a catalyst loses its reaction capacity and must be replaced. Due to the catalytic reaction, a catalyst can be inert, toxic and/or pyrophoric.
In other sectors, such as the steel, paper and cement sectors, they have tanks with filtering materials, aluminas, sands, silica and absorbents that, for correct operation, must be replaced. Waste can also be generated as a result of the production process, which must also be suctioned and be appropriately stored for subsequent processing.
For all of these cases, at Lagupres we have powerful vacuum equipment that incorporates a silo, a filter and a nitrogen recovery system to ensure the safe and efficient removal of products and waste.
