Zone zero
At Lagupres, we have cleaning equipment that uses zone zero ATEX technology to provide vacuum-pumping services for explosive, flammable and toxic products whose flash point is below 61 °C.
Special attention must be paid to executing jobs in zero zone atmospheres, as well as when handling explosive products. The most significant technical features of this equipment are the following:
- Hammelmann, 180-HP pressure pump with a P-Q ratio of 575 bar – 115 lpm.
- Remote control, electric start and stop system, connected to the pump’s clutch (de-pressurized line).
- Control via PLC, with an intrinsic safety system.
- Completely designed with absolute air-tightness in the vacuum system.
- Certified ATEX equipment.
This equipment can also be used to unload, transfer and vacuum toxic, flammable, corrosive and irritant products, given that the entire vacuum system and the storage tank are completely isolated.
The exhaust gases can even be treated and inerted so that they do not cause pollution or harm to the health of people or the environment.
